Karibu Tropical Focus

Tropical Focus for Rural Development is a not-for-profit Non-Governmental organization working in western region of Kenya to alleviate poverty and uplift the living standards of the rural communities. 

We aim at improving the livelihoods of rural poor through support for education and shelter of most under-privileged children and girls, development of income generating projects, socio-economic re-stabilization against the effects of HIV/AIDS, development of domestic water supply systems and support for basic rural infrastructures.

Activities & Our Approach

Education for Under-Privileged Children

Empowering children by providing essentials such as school uniforms, shoes, fees, backpacks, textbooks, and stationery.

Support for Under-Privileged Families

Helping families achieve self-reliance through vegetable gardening skills, shade nets, seeds, and farm tools.

Empowering Youth for a Better Future

Providing college tuition, hostel accommodation, and life skills training, including computer literacy and psychosocial support.

Transforming Lives Through a Holistic Approach

At Tropical Focus, we are dedicated to uplifting underprivileged children, youth, women, and poor households through an integrated and tailored approach. Each beneficiary is supported based on their unique or shared challenges to create lasting impact.
